Overview: Second Life is an online world of endless possibilities - which means an endless number of people have great ideas about how to do business with Linden Lab. This position will play a crucial role in handling inbound requests, and will have an opportunity to collaborate in the structuring and negotiation of new and existing partnerships.
Responsibilities:
* Evaluate incoming inquiries and assist in initiating successful Second Life experiences.
* Maintain constant and detailed knowledge of the Second Life service offering.
* Present product and services to potential partners in a compelling and creative manner.
* Develop, manage and evolve partner relationships.
* Work closely with product, finance, support and legal resources.
* Travel, including international, will be required.
Qualifications:
* 3-5 years relevant business development experience, preferably with online software service companies.
* Rapid prioritization and strong organizational skills.
* Strong ability to collaborate in a cross-functional organization.
* Excellent financial sense and analytical skills.
* Impressive oral presentation and written communication abilities.
* Ability to hold two opposed ideas in mind at the same time and still retain the ability to function.
